Callao Cave: nature's wonderful gift

Ever wondered where you can have your wedding in an unexpected place to promise your vows with each other, a beach, a church, a garden is quite normal. There is one place where you can have your wedding, and it is a cave. Technically, it's also a church but it's a within a cave.

Ladies and gentlemen, I bring you Callao cave, a church within a cave.

Located in the town of PeƱablanca, Cagayan, just 30 minutes away from Tuguegarao, this place offers heavenly picturesque limestone other than the church

And yes, weddings are held in this place since going into church itself is not that hard. One just have to climb a total of 184 steps just to get inside this beautiful haven.

But don't be fooled, this cave has a lot more to offer than the church itself. It does offer massive                                                                                     limestone that are absolutely stunning.

Everyday a lot of people get to see this stunning haven and sadly it has also caused the death of a lot of lime stones so please DO NOT TOUCH THE LIMESTONE because human touch kills
them.

The cave is made up of seven chambers, namely the column, the chapel, skeleton, elephant's head praying angel, Lion's head and Dog's head formations, though the chapel is the main attraction.

SPECIAL SHOUT OUT!!

Also I'd also like to give a special paragraph for our tour guide, Andoy, or Andy, the place's famous tour guide. He's the best and he's really good. Honestly he's the best tour guide I ever had, I swear so, if you decided to tour the area, I suggest look for him since requesting for a tour guide is allowed.

Note:

Take nothing but pictures
leave nothing but footprints
add nothing but love for nature
kill nothing but time
add nothing but the pleasure of your enjoyment
burn nothing but your calories
bring nothing but good memories

Jesus is the reason for Christmas

The Baby in the manger
First of all, I do understand that not all people celebrate Christmas probably because they do not understand why. To some, we celebrate Christmas because it is a time for family reunions or vacations or 13th month pays.

First, it is not wrong to celebrate Christmas that way but to celebrate Christmas in a true way, one must understand Christmas itself.

Merriam-webster.com defines Christmas as "a Christian holiday that is celebrated on December 25 in honor of the birth of Jesus Christ"

"In honor of the birth of JESUS CHRIST"

Not Santa, not family reunions, not Christmas parties and Christmas presents, but the birth of Jesus Christ.

In a world where Jesus Christ is now almost forgotten, true worshipers know that Jesus Christ is the center of Christmas. Christmas begin with Christ.

WHY?

God created us human beings with a pure heart. However, one's pride become our downfall. Lucifer, heaven's lead worshiper rebelled against God and he bought along other rebels with him. Since he wanted everyone to follow, he tempted the world's first man and woman, Adam and Eve, to disobey God. In turn, they give in to temptation resulting to us becoming a slave of the world rather than God's servant. We were separated to God until God Himself provided a way, Jesus Christ.

His death gave us a connection with God, giving us eternity with Him.
But Satan is still at work, he allowed us to celebrate Christmas without Jesus.

Thru, Reunions, Parties, 13th month pay and more. But this is not wrong, just put God at the center of your Christmas celebrations. And besides, one cannot really take Christ away from Christmas.

Jesus is the reason why we have CHRISTmas.!!

Merry Christmas

Duterte, Roxas and the Philippine elections

One can really feel the election is coming in tons of ways. Few of these are very evident already as we can see on televisions, radio, newspapers and social media. One is the stupid faces of the candidates on annoying political ads as shown by television station giants Abs-Cbn, GMA and TV5. As if we don't see their faces on tarpaulins along the roads, canned goods you eat and even the things we use such as bags and shirts.

And there's this name-calling thing as if smart people voters fall for it. Seriously, candidates? Is that how dirty you are? Let's take this Rodrigo Duterte Mar Roxas word war.

Message to Digong and Roxas
Now, honestly I wasn't really able to follow this word war between Digong and Mr. Palengke so I don't really have any idea how it started. I only had the chance to know this word war when Mr. Palengke accused Davao mayor's claimed that Davao's safety was a myth.

Digong retaliates by accusing Roxas' educational attainment saying he was not really a graduate.

I mean,Mr. Roxas seriously? Are you really that desperate for approval that you dare question Mr. Duterte's reign when you yourself awarded Digong of exemplary governance? Really? How trustworthy can you now be?

Now as for Mr. Duterte, it would be tough enough for him to convince the people to vote for him since he himself exposed his dark side, foul-mouthed womanizer as he claimed to be. I do not question his ability to lead however we have to think. Now I'm not defending Mr. Gab Valenciano but I understand the others' concern. When you're elected president, what kind of influence to the public will you be?

Duterte vs. Roxas: a reflection of the country's poor state of election

This Duterte vs. Roxas word war is not really extraordinary. In fact, we've seen this before. Candidates throwing accusations against a candidate, denies them and retaliates by throwing another accusation to his accusers and vice versa.

Seriously?

Now I don't intend to destroy a candidate's reputation, after all the Filipino people do not have to that they destroy themselves. They expose their own weaknesses. The only job left for Filipinos, is to vote wisely. And I appeal to my co-voters, please vote according to your conscience, not according to your needs, if you know what I mean.

The Forsaken's prayer

Dear God
This world despised me
it wants to bring me down.
Earthly thing have deceived me.
I gave in to their empty promise.
Promises of joy,
temporary joy
temporary joy that in the end,
have left weary,
Helpless and hopeless.

Dear God
So Now I pray
for Your love to come over me.
Fill me with Your love.
Your love that can satisfy
one dried soul
a soul that is weary,
helpless and hopeless
because of the things of the world.

Dear God
I know
Your love's power
to satisfy my dry and empty soul.
So Now I pray
In my life, have Your way.
Come be the friend
this world can never offer.
Come Be my God.
Be my Ultimate Love.

1. Kultura

KAMPAII!!!
